Executive workshops, designed with faculty rather than bought off a shelf.

Assumption's graduate schools teach management, technology, supply chain, hospitality and organisation development to an international cohort every day. The India Office turns that faculty capacity into short programmes for Indian companies — scoped to your problem, delivered where it suits you.

Formats

Four shapes a programme usually takes.

Format 01

One-day workshop

A single intensive session on one theme, for a team or a leadership group. The usual starting point, and the cheapest way to test the fit.

Format 02

Three to five day intensive

A residential or near-residential block, in India or on the Bangkok campus. Enough time for case work, simulation and a real output.

Format 03

Modular certificate

Several modules spread across months, so participants keep working between them. Ends in an Assumption certificate of completion.

Format 04

Bangkok immersion

A programme built around the city — campus sessions plus company visits and industry exposure. Visit formats →

ABAC Professional Training Center

Certificate programmes that already exist.

Before commissioning something bespoke, look at what the Professional Training Center already runs. These are taught in blocks — one course at a time — and two of them carry credit into a full master's degree.

A short programme can become a degree. The Mini MBA transfers credit into selected master's programmes, and the full Organization Development Certificate transfers as credit into the M.M. in Organization Development. For an Indian professional who cannot leave a job yet, that makes a certificate a first step rather than a dead end — and neither requires IELTS.

Management

Mini MBA

A four-month weekend programme, taught hybrid. No IELTS. Credits transfer into selected master's degrees. The usual first certificate for a corporate cohort.

Subject areas

Drawn from the schools that already teach it.

  • Business

    Leadership, strategy and general management

From the Graduate School of Business, which runs seven MBA tracks. Suits newly promoted managers and cross-functional leadership groups.

  • Digital

    Digital transformation and technology management

From the Vincent Mary School of Science & Technology and the Graduate School of Advanced Technology Management.

  • Operations

    Supply chain and logistics

From the Martin de Tours School of Management & Economics, which runs a dedicated M.S. in Supply Chain Management. Thailand's position in regional manufacturing makes Bangkok a useful classroom for this.

  • Hospitality

    Hospitality, tourism and service operations

Assumption runs both an MBA and a Ph.D. in this field, in one of the world's most visited cities.

  • People

    Organisation development and change

From the M.M. and Ph.D. programmes in Organization Development — relevant to companies going through restructuring, merger integration or rapid growth.

  • Brand

    Brand, communication and creative strategy

From the MBA in Creative Communication Management.

How a programme gets built
1 · Scoping callWeek 0
2 · Written brief agreedWeek 1
3 · Faculty assigned by the schoolWeek 2
4 · Programme design and proposalWeek 3–4
5 · Delivery, India or BangkokAgreed date
6 · Certificates and feedback reportOn completion
Indicative sequence. Lead times depend on faculty availability and the academic calendar — a Bangkok delivery during examination weeks is harder to arrange.
What we agree in the first conversation. Pricing (per participant or per programme), minimum cohort size, whether the certificate carries credit, and cancellation terms — all four settled in writing before anything is scheduled.
